We created the engineering-software.com website in May 1998 in the very early days of the Internet. We started developing the commerce part of the site in 1999 and launched our site in earnest with an advanced shopping cart software (for its time) in June 2001. Of course what was advanced in 2001 is no longer so. The company that developed the product has not been in business for several years now so there has been no hope to add advanced features. So we bit the bullet to migrate our site to modern, a very capable shopping cart product. We have just begun to scratch the surface with its capabilities but there are many.

Your User Account

We migrated all user accounts except those from 2001 through April 2004. If you remember your password, it will still work. If you are like most people, you probably don't and will need to click on the Forget Password link.  NOTE: we did not migrate order history.

Payment Processing

Please let us know if you would like to see 1) PayPal or 2) Amazon payments. We have this capability and are currently evaluating these options.

Product Reviews

We will be adding product reviews in the coming weeks. This can often help an engineer make a good choice based on reviews of their peers.

Coupons

We have the ability to issue coupons which enable you to purchase products we put on special.
