| Delta T Reactor is the industry-standard software package for the thermal analysis of process vessels and reactors. Delta T Reactor comes with a full array of technical features and a large physical properties database.
The user can specify all the dimensional details of the vessel and jacket or load pre-defined standard reactor details. Vessel and jacket fluids can be chosen from the large database or be defined by the user.
The software gives detailed output of heat transfer coefficients, heat transfer rates, vessel and jacket temperatures. Temperature and heat transfer can be tracked over time giving heat-up or cool-down curves for the application.
The user can choose from three heat transfer regimes: constant jacket input temperature, vessel temperature tracking and limited-heat-transfer.
Delta T comes with a large physical properties database which gives the thermodynamic and transport properties of over 600 compounds versus temperature and pressure. | Chempak Plus is a two-module package giving the user a physical properties database, process calculator and properties estimation package designed for chemical engineering applications. Chempak Plus Main Module gives the thermodynamic and transport properties of over 600 compounds versus temperature and pressure. Standard constant properties are quoted. Variable properties include vapor pressure, specific heats, specific volume, enthalpy, entropy, latent heat, viscosity, conductivity and surface tension. Process calculator gives calculation of isentropic, non-isentropic and adiabatic processes. User can define new liquids and mixtures of compounds drawn from the database. Chempak Plus Property Estimation Module allows the user to define and store new compounds that are specified in both vapor and liquid phases for all Chempak thermodynamic and transport properties. Knowing only the structural formula of the new compound, good-quality estimates can be derived for all properties using built-in default methods. Properties may be estimated by corresponding-states or group-contribution methods or by entry of known data or correlations. When additional data is known (for example boiling point or critical properties) then the overall accuracy of the estimated properties can be greatly increased. Any combination of US and Metric units can be employed. Graphical and data analysis features are available. |
